Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Humane Society for Animals. Volunteers are the backbone to keeping Benton County’s homeless animals healthy and happy. Whether you want to help better the lives of the homeless animals, or you want to prevent abuse by raising awareness of the tragedies that occur when people stop caring for animals, your efforts really make a difference!
Typical volunteer activities include dog walking, socializing with the animals, and fundraising. Some of our volunteers assist with off-site adoption programs at Petco, festivals, and other special events.
An a.m. orientation class is required prior to volunteering. This class is held on the first Saturday of each month at 12:00 p.m. in the dog park in front of the shelter. You can fill out your application during this orientation class and one of our volunteer coordinators will make arrangements with you to discuss what volunteer position you might like to have.
